SCHOOL BOARD VOTES TO REVISE SCHOOL REOPENING PLAN!!

THE COMBINED/UNION 103 BOARD VOTED LAST NIGHT TO REVISE THE SCHOOL REOPENING PLAN THAT WAS ORIGINALLY ADOPTED IN AUGUST OF 2020. THE HIGHLIGHTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The wearing of masks by staff and students is encouraged but optional while at school and at school sponsored activities
2. Wearing a mask while on the school bus is MANDATORY per federal regulations
3. The schools will seek parental consent for students to engage in "pooled COVID weekly testing" so that we can quickly identify any potential outbreaks. Participation is strictly voluntary and will be provided in a school unless at least 30% of the parents agree to allow their children to participate.
