Principal's Message
The year has been a busy one and we are now in the thick of things with basketball playoffs- the girls won last night and the boys play Ashland tonight. No matter the outcome, they have all made us proud, giving it their all with each game and always trying their hardest. Congratulations, boys and girls!!!
We continue to provide a range of instruction for our 68 students. They attend classes in English, Math, Social Studies and History, Science, Art, Physical Education, Health, computer science, online spanish, early college courses for many, and several offerings at the CTE program at the Four Corners program. Next year, we hope to add a comprehensive experiential, hands-on program with some aspects of our prior program and some new elements as well. There is already money in the budget for this because we tried to recruit a new teacher when Mr. Grant left, but with no success.
Our new proposed CSD High School budget will include several items that have been recommended by the staff and Board. The first budget workshop will be Wednesday, March 1, at the High School library at 5:00 pm. The increase requested is substantial so please feel free to attend these next Board meetings.
