Jonesport - Beals High School, Jonesport Elementary School, and Beals Elementary School all have an ink jet printer cartridge recycling program. Each school provides teachers, staff, and students a recycling program designed to lessen the impact on our environment. The recycling program provides the collection materials, packaging materials, and prepaid postage for each school. Each school is paid a small amount for each ink jet cartridge it collects and sends into the recycling company. You, the public, can also benefit from your school ink jet cartridge recycling program. Bring in your used ink jet cartridge and your school will benefit by receiving a small cash incentive for recycling the cartridges. Every effort helps.

Criteria for recycling:

Teachers - Staff

• Return your used ink jet cartridges to the Main Office and place in recycling container.

Residents - Students

• Place used ink jet cartridge in plastic baggy (in case of leakage) and drop off at your school's office.

Laserjet Printer Cartridge Recycling

Most of our laserjet printer cartridges can be recycled back to the company the cartridge was purchased from.

To recycle laserjet printer cartridges:

• Remove the printer cartridge and take the cartridge to the office and swap it for a new one.

• If you do not feel comfortable with the cartridge replacement or do not know if the cartridge is bad please contact your technical department.
