PART-TIME AND SUBSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL STAFF EMPLOYMENT

A long-term substitute teacher will work at the regular substitute pay for 10 school days. At that time the long-term substitute teacher will be paid according to the base of the teacher’s salary scale. During a school year, the School Committee may transfer a long-term substitute teacher to another similar position in the school and continue to pay that substitute on the base of the teacher’s salary scale waiving the 10 days at regular substitute pay for the new position. The School Committee reserves the right to review each situation on an individual basis as needed.
